Limbo was a drawing service that disseminated observational sketches of the world as seen by one pair of eyes.
In 2011 a new drawing tool and dissemination system was created for the existing drawing practice. Working with the programmer Jude Venn, a bespoke drawing-programme was first created for the artist’s smart-phone. Once a drawing was made, it was uploaded from the smartphone to the Limbo database and from here directly dispatched out to the world via the ‘Limbo’ iPhone App, Twitter and Facebook. The App is no longer functional but the Limbo database still distributes the drawings ‘live’ via Instagram, Facebook and via this website.
